There are a couple of accreditation levels you can become:

Leisure Travel Consultant (LTC): This is an entry-level position, LTCs refer traffic to their retail travel portals and have no direct contact with vendors. Can earn 25-50% commission.

Booking Travel Agent (BTA): After purchasing the BTA package and completing BTA Exam, BTAs can generate bookings and contact vendors. Can earn 25-70% commission.

Travel Reservation Specialist (TRS): After passing a Background Check and the TRS Exam, TRSs will have full access to a Global Distribution System (GDS). Can earn 25-80% commission.
